Not a part of this tour but the Hotelier is playing at the University of Delaware tomorrow night. Only 7 bucks for non students.

 

Someone needs to get the college shows thread going again.

I don't know haha? I'm not as active as I should be in the club that books these shows so I don't really know him well.

 

weird, would have presumed everyone at u-del on here knew him, haha

 

I like kind of know him, like I see him at almost every show I go to, just never really in the same circles outside of that if that makes any sense.

 

Never heard of any of the other bands but I'm really excited for Goodness from the Hotelier so I'm going to probably go to the NYC show. Anyone know if the other bands are any good?

 

Told Slant and Bellows are both pretty great, can't speak for the other band.

 

Loone is great and also v important, another of those bands in the MA queer scene, their drummer Alyssa Kai is incredible and she killed it drumming with Mal Blum

I love all the bands on this bill, and I love Alyssa Kai, but I've never listened to Loone. Their discography is pretty big, which album do you recommend I start with?

 

there's only two releases on their bandcamp, and the split seems to be their first as a "band". so probably there

 

Ah, okay, I saw they have a bunch of other albums under the name Noel'le Longhaul on bandcamp, didn't know if they play those songs anymore.

 

Anyone been to this? I'm seeing them on Sunday. Are they really only playing 12 songs?

 

this tour hasn't started yet, lol
expect this tour to be their longest set yet, probably about an hour, seems like 12 is about right with how long some of the new songs are

 

Ah gotcha, I know they're playing shows in Europe right now but that must be a different tour/lineup. Just looked at the setlist for those shows and it looks like they're playing 7 from HLNIT and 4 from Goodness with one of their first album. A bit disappointing, would've liked to hear a couple old ones like Our Lives and Ode to the Nite Ratz Club and the title track of course

 

Looks like Told Slant dropped off the Portland date, huge bummer

 

If anyone can give rough set times and setlists thatd be awesome!

 

Yeah, vv eager to see what they're playing in what I had no idea would be such a long setlist. I'm so excited.
