I really hope not. I'm super into the vibe here. Hoping this is actually the most similar to the "In Framing"/"Scope" type songs from the last record and they go into a lot of interesting musical directions on this one.

 

its kind of ridiculous how much faith i have in this band. Whatever direction this record takes, i cant see it being bad/disappointing/whatever

Yep, listened 3 times now. I needed this. In an extremely tumultuous and uncomfortable time in my life, I absolutely needed this song right now at this very moment. They'll be taking my phone away here soon so I'll make this brief: I love this band so much and you all very much. I don't know. The only song I can really listen to on its own by this band is Life in Drag cause it means a lot to me. Prob won't listen to this song again till I have the album.

 

New song lives up to every bit of hype I had for it.

I was able to get tickets to see Bon Iver, Deafheaven, and Oneohtrix Point Never today and the hype of that combined with a new song pre orders on the same day has me overwhelmed. My heart can only take so much.
