My first thought when I heard about the tweet was "they're just making fun of Pup" but I wanted to badly to believe that it was real. Maybe it still is, who knows. I'll be keeping my ear to the ground but if theres nothing up by like 10:30 I'm going to bed.

 

It's kind of approaching Brand New levels of discourse in here.

 

you know, i was just thinking this as well. one tweet has sent us all into hysterics. this band has definitely earned that reputation.

but yeah, ill be shocked if anything happens tonight

If it's just a song tonight, I'll hold off for one week.

 

If they released Goodness Pt 2 I'd listen, just because I'm so curious to hear that song specifically, but if it was anything else I'd hold off until next week. I still haven't heard Soft Animal.

 

I'm hoping preorders ship out soon. I need to gear this album. Especially since it's a love album.

 

Listening to Your Deep Rest and still absolutely floored by it two years later. One of the best songs I've ever heard.

Going out tonight so will likely end up listening to this drunk at 3am if it's streamed which will be interesting

I imagine this has already been discussed on here, but I caught The Hotelier on their recent UK tour. They played 2 songs they haven't released yet - Goodness Pt. 2 and Sun. Both of them fucking rip!

Edit: Just deleted a thing about Goodness Pt. 2 because I don't know how to spoiler tag yet. Sorry if you read it and didn't want to.

 

Ah damn. At least I'll get a digital download.

 

I stay up till like 1am every night anyway so joke or not, doesn't even matter for me.

 

yeah i dont have to work until 10 tomorrow so ill probably be up anyways.

I've waited this long, I can wait another week. But if it happens tonight, no matter how late, I'm up about every 3 hours taking care of a baby, so at least I'll have this to listen to.

And if it's another song, I hope it's "Settle the Scar" since I'm already familiar with that one.

 

Started drinking heavily please let me know if this leaks so I can lie in the middle of the road at 3am and listen to this in peace

 

Oh yeah I totally forgot the prospect of it leaking. That could very well happen too.

 

maybe this is another case of me reading too much into something, but just based on Tiny Engines tweeting just now "HIGHLY recommend[ing]" preordering the record today makes me think... maybe we'll get a dig download at midnight if we pre-ordered it by today??
again, i'm probably reading too much into that tweet...
