Disintegration is the only Cure record I've heard, but it's great.

 

YO FRIENDS, ITS OFFICIAL.... on May 30th im driving 13 hours to see my favorite band, The Hotelier, play in Seattle. i cant even explain to you guys how excited i am for this. i would not do this for any other band. GAAAAAHHHHH!! This is nuts haha, cant believe im doing this.

sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh, i thought i was itching for this record before i bought those tickets... now i am dying.

 

Does anyone have a link to that recent interview where Christian talks about the themes of the album a lot? I searched on this site(I thought it was linked here) but cant find it.

 

Home is my fav ever, followed v closely by The Sunset Tree

friday is the earliest we'll get a stream, the tour starting that day makes me feel it's more likely, if i didn't know that i wouldn't have expected one until monday or wednesday, if at all

 

I sincerely hope either PUP or hotelier stream that day, not both, as otherwise there is absolutely no way I am going to be able to adequately manage my time listening to two albums that are going to be in my top 5 this year for definite, hah. If they do both stream at the same time it will be equally glorious and painful.

 

I'm going to force myself to only listen to one of them for like 2/3 days before I go onto the other. Considering I'm hyped for Thrice as well that day it's going to be absolute hell haha

Listened to the live version of sun on YouTube and reaffirmed how much I fucking love that song, get some serious EIIKM Era Motion City vibes from the vocal melody of the "will you lay with me forever" verse

Same. Especially after the song clips thing, I'm impressed the peiced together clips that people ripped never made it out.

i'm not surprised. as i said, the people chuck/will send the record too are usually trusted. plus it's all watermarked too through haulix

This is interesting what is haulix? Sorry don't know a lot about this stuff

 

haulix is a site that a lot of press agencies use to send out advances. it's all password/email protected stuff, and individually watermarked, which is a way to track down a copy that leaks to see who did it.
