I think it's more of a step sideways than a leap forwards. They're doing different things but I wouldn't say it's that different.

 

This is something I love to hear

 

My anticipation for this has been so intense for such a long period of time. I'm almost exhausted. Listening to this album for the first time is going to feel surreal. 20 days and counting!

 

Seeing them tonight here we fucking go I'm so excited

 

Same, so hyped right now, should be fucking sick

 

Best fucking band ever, Introduction live is incredible. Sun is so good, cannot wait to hear it on the album.

Can't believe I ran into someone from here but was cool speaking to you, jealous you've heard some of the album already cos Sun and Goodness Pt 2 were so fucking ridiculous I need to hear them like right now.

I've been really good at not listening to Piano Player and Soft Animal more than like twice, until this past week... I cannot get Piano Player out of my head.

Piano Player finally hit me the other day. That song is just so damn good. Soft Animal hasn't hit home for me just yet, but I imagine it will in context of the album.

 

I haven't overplayed a single the way I have with "Soft Animal" since like the days when high school-era Cody NEEDED Motion City Soundtrack to survive.

Anyone have any idea when vinyl might be shipping? I'm moving out of my apartment on May 30 to a house and I'm not sure if I should change my shipping address to my new place or wait for it to come to my apartment.

 

Man, it's going to be the worst thing ever. I'm seeing them live their final hometown show. Will certainly be a devastating night.

 

Im jealous of that. Ill be at two shows, 1 in NYC and the other in NJ. Looking forward to it, but also don't want it to be real if that makes sense haha.

 

i only listened to soft animal once in the background because I want to ABSORB this album into my being.

 

According to last.fm I've played Soft Animal 80 times since release and that doesn't count when my phone's been on airplane mode, worried I'm going to kill it for myself at this point tbh

 

Seeing goodness pt 2 live tonight blew my mind. What an unbelievable opening song.
