Missed you buddy! I remember you getting insanely hyped for this record when you joined this site. Hope all is well!
I'm sitting at a desk in an office, working towards the tax deadline and it's 79 degrees and sunny outside. My only hope is that you're all outside and on your phones while posting :)
Yea I’m sorry, I just wanted to spark discussion in here in a way that brought people back together from the release period (which I think worked)..however I can see how it could be annoying as well with the notifications. Didn’t think anyone would care about it at 2am tho
@felipecardel was right: Goodness IS just one of those albums that most people won't ever really "get". And that is unfortunate.
I’m aware of that but the notifications shouldn’t bother you since you can click it once and it’s gone.. this is the strangest argument I’ve had on this site lol
Lmao @ people actually upset about notifications Here’s a clue, tap the notification button to remove the alerts, then look up from your phone, then go on with your day Goddamn this weather is beautiful. Isnt one of the themes of this record to not let minor shit get in the way of your enjoyment of life?
i didn't get a single notification and thought that i just didn't post in here much (i don't post much anyway), went into the "received likes" part of my profile and turns out i just had notifications for those turned off! thx 4 the likes @teebs41
what is there not to "get" lol why do you guys think you have some profound insight no one else has into this album
i mean its pretty annoying to have over 100 notifications from a single thread to the point where you have to go digging real deep to see any other notifications you might have gotten elsewhere on the site. pretty inconvenient and unnecessary.
Liking posts to contribute to the conversation without the commitment to post something is cool. Liking everything for the sake of liking everything defeats the purpose of the function and amplifies the drawbacks to notifications. I don't really like to Like old posts as they're not really relevant to the conversation anymore. If you want to revitalize a cool point made a while back, quote it and let everyone join the fun!
didn't think of this angle, just that it might be a harmless bit of fun shock value for users to wake up to hundreds of notifications. sorry, Jake
