Seen this band 4 times, twice in Baltimore, once in DC, and once in Pittsburgh. I think they've gotten better every time.
My first listen of Goodness was so special. I sent and sat on a rock by the forest by my house then it started raining during "Sun" (ironically enough). I walked home and sat on my porch and I remember getting emotional when "End of Reel" came on for the first time. I really hope I can have that type of expirience with an album again someday.
These were the exact two times I've seen them lol, plus once last year on the Joyce Manor tour. That TWIABP show is one of my favorites ever still.
And Jeff Rosenstock. ;) It's actually a dream bill for me. PUP, Hotelier and Jeff are three of my absolute favorites and Thursday is like a "this band is legendary and I should probably see them" band. Very similar to how I felt about the modern baseball/front bottoms/brand new tour last year haha.
It certainly looks like a good time. Going to try real hard to be there. I wonder how crowded it will be, a free show in Brooklyn feels like a wild time
5 band shows should never happen unless it's truly necessary and each band plays 25 mins max 4 band shows are only fine if the openers play like 30 minutes each and the headliner plays an hour tops
This is perfect for the first rainy spring day ugh I've heard Piano Player 5000 times now and it still gives me shivers
I'm guessing the solo tour is the announcement.. still interested. Weird to make an announcement on a Saturday but everything they do is sort of weird
