go to that amazing show they're doing this month, all four bands are incredible ...except I looked and it sold out
was it the past Saturday? Hotelier, animal flag, loone, Palehound. Three of my most anticipated this year along with the Hotelier
yeah. it was a benefit though so I don't feel too bad about missing it. Hotelier played their standard set :/
also to add to this i've seen them twice. once at my school in a super small, empty room. first time they played piano player live IIRC. and christian was super sick and could barely sing. original plan seemed to be to have *guitarist that isn't oso oso* sing but christian ended up doing most of it and a ton of crowd singing then on the goodness headlining tour
Three times for me. First time was in 2014 with Foxing and Prawn. Saw em twice last year: on their summer headliner and then later opening for Thursday
Sorry my post made it seem like I saw them twice on their summer tour lol. Needs a colon in there To answer you question tho, no I can't count :/
It's because this type of music goes well with just a scratchy guitar sound (I haven't watched the Christian video so I have no idea what guitar tone is used tho). like, imagine quiet things by brand new with just jesse and a fuzzy guitar sound
Solo electric guitar instantly gives me "Sealed To Me" vibes. Once I get out of work I'm checkin' out that vid btw guys
I've only seen this band once and it was a few months before Home was out (or even announced, I think), and I didn't care about them at all then. :( I went for Born Without Bones. I did get a "Hotel Year" shirt tho, since it was before the name change.
I've seen them twice, on the Title Fight/La Dispute headliner and on the tour with Bellows, Told Slant and I think a couple of others. Forever regret missing them on the Prawn / Foxing tour and this one other tour both times I had no ride
I've seen them twice--once at Suburbia in BK right after Home came out with TWIABP, Told Slant, and Crying, and then again at Asbury Lanes with Modern Baseball, Tiny Moving Parts, and Sorority Noise a few months later. Bellows' recent album is probably my most played of the year so far, so I'm bummed I missed their tour together.
Y'all remember when Tiny Engines let all the people that pre-ordered Goodness download the album 2 weeks early after what felt like the longest album roll out ever. That wan such a happy moment
I remember being the one to break that news in this thread, and then the album ended up streaming later in the day. I was so excited. I don't know if I've ever anticipated an album as much as I did this one
