It's crazy that I have so many memories attached to goodness already. Not even out a year and when I listen to I'm reminded of my very busy and intense spring last year. Sitting in my office after school listening with just my headphones and trying to relax after being unbelievably stressed. I can't stress enough how much this album has meant to me

 

I don't listen to this album very often but when I do I tend to stop everything that I'm doing and soak it in. I haven't done that with an album, even recent favorite albums, in forever. Really a special album. Their most coherent, complex and "best".

The crowd didn't seem too aggressive to me on Friday, which was nice. Expected way worse from a JM crowd.

 

does anyone have a link to that sort of year end list that Christian does? But the one he did between the last one and the one he did right before Home came out. I was searching their archives using keywords and didn't find it, im sure there was one in between

 

My 4th time seeing them, probably the best they've sounded, hot damn. Crowd was moshing obnoxiously at times, but I was expecting as much. EOR sounded awesome live. Oh, and that buildup in Sun sounds killer now.

Surprised I didn't miss it that much, maybe bc I had heard it two times already.


Two deliverances was other worldly like, I can't believe how good it was, it's nice that they actually played it closer to the album tempo instead of sped up live tempo. I think this band will continue to grow and get better live, in two years i could see them owning this scene, I think this tour will bring in new fans

 

That's sweet that they sounded so good!

I'm glad they're still playing Wildflowers though. That is my favorite Hotelier song live.

 

Yea that one was probably the best it's been, also Christian doesn't scream life in drag anymore he kind of just yells really high but I love it, almost reminds me of mewithoutyou
