Yeah if it were to leak this early... I don't even know. I really don't want that to happen because id feel guilty about being excited to hear it tbh.
I grew up 45 minutes outside of Worcester (moved away in October) and have somehow never caught these guys live. I'm equally as disappointed that I've been too poor to pre-order Goodness on vinyl.
sub. Home never hit me like a train the way it did for most people here, but i've grown to appreciate it a ton over time. because of this, i am moderately hyped and will manage to not listen to anything before the whole thing is out. i love when i'm able to do that.
Love Piano Player, but only listened to it about 5 times so it stays fresh. Not looking up any of the other songs on YouTube, have barely listened to Goodness pt. 1. I'm content with waiting
"Piano Player" is better than "Dendron" by a lot imo, which is really saying something because "Dendron" is an incredible piece of music.
I can't support this statement lol. The instrumental part where the band just jams for over a minute gives me chills everytime.
I loved Piano Player when I played it, but it certainly didn't hit me as hard as Dendron. But to be fair, that is my favorite song by the band.
To each their own haha. I love the little instrumental breaks in "Piano Player" plus I think lyrically it's their strongest song but again, I've developed an extreme personal attachment as documented earlier in this thread, so I don't expect many others to agree and that's fine :D
I can completely understand the personal/emotional attachment to the song, thats honestly the same reason Dendron is my favorite. And to an extent, it's the sort of thing that people either have or they don't. Piano Player hit me hard, but it hasn't sustained on that emotional level quite yet.
I'm trying to think about this record as little as possible until May.. It's been a very long wait ha
Finally got around to listening to Piano Player and holy crap now I'm excited for this thing, the way that instrumental in the beginning drops out right to Christian's voice got me
