Goodness and Harmlessness are gonna be soundtracking this week since I just started back at college and I need the positivity desperately
I still have never listened to Home and Goodness back to back because I honestly think it would be super jarring to shift atmospheres so completely like that and im scared of what being crushed and then being lifted towards the light will do to me
Just got back from a very pleasant early evening walk with this album, and yeah, it's still my favorite release to come out of 2016 thus far. For some reason I had been doubting whether or not it really deserved to be so high on my list, but listening to it just now really cemented it's place as my AOTY until something else comes along and knocks it down (which I don't envision happening). Every song hit me like a freight train, and as I get ready to go back to school and start at my new job the lyrics are connecting with me more than ever. There are a few things yet to come out this year that have the potential to take away the number one spot from Goodness, but I'm beginning to think that this album is what Carrie and Lowell was for me last year, in that it was pretty much immediately the best album I had heard all year and remained that way. I don't know, this band is just awesome. When I get a few consecutive hours that are free I want to go through INGO, Home and Goodness successively, because I've actually yet to do that.
Back to the discussion at the top of this page real quick, Third Eye Blind is an incredible band and they're one of my all time favorites. Also, they're an intriguing band to see live. They really put on a show.
Ill spare yall the vegan rant because yall probably dont care anyways i dont blame you This band is so important though holy fuck
Has the band had Goodness vinyl at their shows? Seeing them next month and the ticket is only $13 for 3 bands and I want to support The Hotelier.
If we marry, are you gonna force me into veganism??? There's a really good vegan restaurant like 2 miles from my house
