Yeah. That guy slammed a girl in the front row onto the stage. No one else was doing it but he kept doing it. Christian did make eye contact and gesture for him to stop. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like someone who is aware of the bands message would understand it's not that kinda show but I guess some people just like to thrash around to heavy sounds. Oh well, Hotelier were great.
I just can't imagine going to a Hotelier show with the intent of throwing down and moshing. They basically 1 and a half songs that could possibly justify it, and even then it just seems wildly inappropriate given the subject matter and personality/values of the band members. But I grew out of moshing and violent crowd participation a long time ago, so I personally can't picture myself doing that for any band.
I have to admit to loving that part in Introduction, as well as loving to shout that part with everyone in the room.......it's really fun....cathartic....
Crowd was so incredibly respectful in philly.. Very quiet and no moshing. Also they played you in this light which was awesome!
Philly show was really great. However, I was surprised that a push pit seemed to open up close to the front of the stage for Scope, especially because everyone was just standing there and enjoying themselves for the ten songs before it.
@nothingsforeverdude camera work is probably awful bc I like to watch the show with my eyes so I just point and hope I get close haha.
My only complaint about last night was that it went by way too fast. Did everyone else get goodness pt 1 (acapella) before pt 2? Havnt heard a lot of people mention it
i'm curious too. not much overlap with the crowd, not sure how many people will show just for them. a lot of people are going to be at neon indian though. i'm probably leaving their set a little early to go to jeremih. definitely want to say hi to jade though
lol'ing forever at "broteliers." that perfectly describes a few dudes in attendance at the SF show a while back. kind of kid who jumps at the chance to push everyone to the front and scream "I CALLED IN SICK TO YOUR FUUUUUNERALLL!!!" and of course a pit opens up for Life In Drag really insanely jelly y'all got You In This Light at Philly!!
