more importantly, what flavor airhead did you get?

 

Last time D-Plan came up I said I didn't hear any D-plan in the Hotelier... I partially take that back lol. I definitely hear guitar chord / strumming similarities in "Soft Animal" and "The City". That's the only similarity for me and my ears.

 

I really don't hear much if any D Plan in this at all

 

I get big D-Plan vibes in this

Cool interview, but I don't think I can listen to this band anymore knowing that Christian thinks Pet Sounds is overrated

No one is perfect, I'm sure.

As for this record, it's definitely grown on me. I think that's just how this band is for me.

 

At least he respects them enough to check out their set

I've never been on HMV before but their "Next Big Thing" section is giving me a ton of great artists

Yeah it's perfect without any exaggeration, flawless, a highmark of the medium. etc.
