I get why people like opening mail so much, but I just prefer the urgency there's in goodness. I should have said that while I put them in different tiers, there's very little separating most of them. Fear of Good is the only song I'm pretty meh on. Just feels kind of out of place and awkward within the album in my opinion. Reminds me of Cassino and Ice Factory from Sounds of Salvation.
Are they really out of tune? You're a more schooled musician than I am, so I'll trust your ear. But it really doesn't sound off to me?
I mean I'm not as trained as teebs but they don't sound too off to me. Just sounds like it's sung by people who aren't the greatest of singers with no vocal correction on it. Not bad at all, but not perfect. Which is probably what they were going for?
The end of the phrase he trails off the pitch a little bit. Definitely not way off just a musical choice
I'd put it on par with the instrumental tracks and the spoken word, so I don't really include it. Not a fan. Well, that and I'm lying. It's with the first group for me
I really really love this album as a whole, and I love listening to it all the way through.... However, when I am at work, the only songs I seem to come back to are: Two deliverances, Settle the scar, and sometimes Sun. But mainly just the first two
was a bit on the fence but after combing through all the lyrics on this im started to think they topped home with this one
Sun, YITL, Piano Player, Goodness pt 2 Settle The Scar, End of Reel, Soft Animal Two Deliverances, Opening Mail, the poem (i love it)
soft animal, end of reel, goodness pt 2 sun, opening mail, piano player really just love all of the album but those are my top 6
Got my shipping confirmations for the LP and Goodness Pt.1 single. The single confirmation also included a digital dl but only contained the one track, so idk what that means for the b-side edit: nvm, store page says Rain is vinyl only, I'm dumb
