Well when I saw them in Toronto they said it was their third time playing that room. I was kinda shocked that they haven't grown to bigger venues in the time from that first show there.
People were pretty into it when they played stuff off Home, but I don't think many knew that they could hear the album yet then (Thursday) since it wasn't *officially* out till that night.
Listening to Opening Mail on a dark cold cycle back home at half twelve...saddest song they've done ever
Speaking of that, I was singing to "Two Deliverances" and my girlfriend is like "You shouldn't sing it, it means you stole it!" and I'm like "...IT WAS TECHNICALLY STREAMING ALREADY..."
I think the third coordinate song and Fear of Good are the two "under the radar" songs on the album that have grown on me the most; they are both hauntingly beautiful.
I think I'm picking up some Reconstruction Site vibes from Opening Mail. I've come around a lot to Sun too, the last minute or so of that song really is one of the best parts of the album.
Definite Weakerthans vibes in all their albums which makes sense at least two of the members love that band according to that Reddit AMA
Emergency & I and Left & Leaving are two of the best albums ever and the two best albums with a "&" in their title.
