This is getting really close to overtaking The 1975 for me right now. You In This Light and End of Reel hit me so, so hard. I almost started sobbing at work when it got to the repeated "I don't know what I want, what I want's where I've been" part of End of Reel.

Same. I know most of my favourite parts and I've probably listened to it like 30 times, but I want to sing along to the whole thing! Hopefully I'll have all the lyrics down when I see them in a few weeks.

 

I fucking love INGO, it's so fun and freeing and energetic. Absolutely perfect for the summer.

Definitely top 10 haha. It's been an amazing year so far and shit keeps piling on. Plus Im a relatively new fan of Pinegrove even though they're unbelievably good.

 

I agree with basically all of the albums in these top fives but haven't got round to listening to Daughter, it's obviously good then? I really really liked Youth as a song but haven't delved into their stuff yet.

 

This is hands down his best material to me imo. Big production upgrade and his songwriting and lyrics are unbelievable

 

Daughter is a fantastic band

Let us know what you think. Its not ideal for summertime imo (I don't know where you live but where I am it's finally sunny and hot, haha) but there was a stretch in the winter when I listened to it every night. Beautiful album.

Yeah Lemonade is actually probably in place of Anderson.Paak in my list. Fack. Luckily I don't have to make a year end list for anything other than myself because there is so much good shit out.
