Fawn/Field would have been perfect if fawn had instead been a sky blue. I've noticed that The Hotelier has had similar album art color palettes (Minus the It Never Goes Out rerelease)
Lololol I have no self control and ended up buying the /700 variant. I like how it looks better than midnight and smitten anyway, but yeah I have to chill with vinyl buying after this.
This and Standards are my first 12" vinyl purchases since I bought Turnover's peripheral vision last summer. I did good on restraining myself the second half of 2015.
So stoked on this pre-order right now. Also, as far as variants, after F/F I think Black looks the best as a whole package, don't like cerulean/coral much at all.
Umm . . . "Consider it a third-album leap similar to that of Radiohead’s OK Computer, Deftones’ White Pony, or Brand New’s The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me" If this is accurate then I don't even know what to say. Those are 3 of my all-time favorite albums.
"Piano Player" is up for stream/purchase on Bandcamp too: Hopefully they'll make a download available for those of us who pre-ordered.
Was hoping the lyrics would be up on Bandcamp. There are a few lines I'm having a lot of trouble deciphering.
lol i just bought the Goodness 7" too. i REALLY wish i wouldve seen that before i bought the LP so i couldve got them on the same order and not bought double international shipping. idiot move. but whatever. in the long run, this record is more important.
Man, this band comes across as far more intelligent than bands that have been around decades longer. It's unreal.
Is End Of Reel streaming on Apple Music? It looks as though it can be played, but when I click it, I get a message saying "Looks like "End of Reel" is no longer available."
Basically went all in on this band in the past day. Got the field/fawn because I like it to go with the actual artwork and it looked he closest. Also got the Home repress since I really only started listening to this band a month ago.
I just got back from a nice walk outside while listening to "Piano Player" (and "Settle the Scar" and "Goodness pt. 1") and that's when I really felt it.
