The run from the second coordinates -> Two Deliverances -> Settle The Scar -> Opening Mail is GOAT Also Two Deliverances is the greatest song of all time. Sorry Soft Animal. Time to change the username lol
I also want to add the "party" or social gathering I guess was at my house... So that makes it better right?
My favorite party ever I made the playlist in three phases: 1. Regular get drunk party music while people were just getting in 2. Pop singalongs once we were inebriated enough 3. Slowly transitioning into "scene music", going like from paramore and fall out boy to brand new and the front bottoms once the people who weren't my closest friends left Best night. Also had some other great scene singalong nights
Yea we regularly have nights where we will listen to old school scene music.. Brand new, early November, fall out boy, the starting line, ect... But we also have nights where I'm not allowed to pick anything and I understand that ha... When I start playing underoaths define the great line people may ask me to turn it off, depending on who is ther s
I'm out of town right now at like a weekend party / hangout thing with a ton of my friends. It's raining today and we just had a mini Hotelier sing a long while I played the guitar haha. It was awesome. A bunch of my friends listen to them now and I can play like all of Home. Now time to learn Goodness songs!
Of all time is quite a statement, but these two parts... god damn. "But if I want them too will they come to me soon? Will they fluctuate between midnight and past noon? Was kind of banking on a future that'd be involving you but I couldn't ask this of you." "But if I choose this too does it count as my move? I can't drop my history just to become new. Now swimming through the nothingness and the absolute but I couldn't ask this of you."
For the last party I went to we made a queue for the next song - so one guy would put on something, next person would choose one, etc... the music taste was... eclectic, to say the least. We had one guy who was really into fucking weird rap, another who was into the deep cuts of german music, another who liked ska punk, a guy who liked everything and anything, my girlfriend who put on Avril Lavigne, and then me. That was a very weird and fun night hah
Singing to sad songs while drunk is a great way to bond with mates. One time we even properly harmonised No Surprises, sounded great (to us, probably not to anyone outside haha)
If I could pick one song from the album to get a friend interested in the band, then I'd pick 'Soft Animal'. If they didn't like it, I'd find a new friend.
I'd go with probably Your Deep Rest or In Framing. If I had to go with anything from this album, I'd go with Soft Animal.
LITTLE BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRD FROM THE SIIIIIIIIIDE OF THE SIDEWALK SINGS ME HYYYYYYMNALS OF COOOOOMFORT IN PAIN SAID GIVE ME YOU ALL DISAAAAARMED AND UNCER-TAIN AND I'LL PROOOOOOMISE THAT IIIIIIII'LL DO THE SAME AND IT SOUNDED LIKE SOMETHING YOU'D SAY
If I was to show this band to a friend I'd probably go with In Framing because it's their most accessible off Home in my opinion
Maybe in my head I just assume it's one of the less accessible tracks because the people in this thread seemed to dislike the dissonant chords and stuff at the beginning. But either way, I absolutely love everything about Goodness Pt2
Really? It's like a 3/10 on the scale of not dissonant to extremely dissonant, haha. I think it has a strong melody and a good amount of momentum going for it. Seems to me like a song that would draw in a more general "rock music" fan.
I don't mind the dissonant guitar, I just can't stand the first two minutes doing the same simple drum beat the whole time with not much else doing anything.
