Yeah, for me I just happened to play it in certain situations such that it had significance and really stuck. Their new one hasn't benefited from that experience for me yet, but I'm sure it will.

Man Goodness pt.2 is great. Loving this so far.

 

I love albums with corresponding interlude tracks. The coordinate tracks totally give me Brother, Sister feels.

 

D-plan is great this album is great music is great you're all great

 

I actually feel offended when people think that 1975 record is better than this.

 

Offended isn't the right word but I would never agree bc I don't like that style of music

 

I think that Christian is a genius and that this is one of the best records of the past 10 years. My own opinion, of course.

1975 record is great, this record is great, a rediculous amount of music already released this year is great. 2016 has been unbelievable for music since the first damn day and we're all blessed to be living through this period of incredible music coming every week.

 

So if I bought this on Bandcamp, would it be available right away?

Speaking of calling albums your AOTY before they came out, the new Butch Walker will almost certainly top my list! I'm not worried about the rest of the year at all. It's been a great year so far and there's more great stuff to come. I might not have heard any all-time favorites yet, but there's still been plenty to love.

Yeah, that didn't happen to me with the new one either, but I still think it's an incredibly well put together piece of work.

But has anyone showed you Pet Sounds?

 

Absolutely, I've not been listening to anywhere near as much stuff as I have been in the past few years but I've still found a similar amount of stuff that I'm into.

this record is really, really good. i was very excited for it and I've listened to it twice thus far and it's great. it's a lot to take in, and notably different from Home, but I think i'll grow to enjoy it more than that record.

I don't get what a Beatles album has to do with any of this.

 

Second run of the album tonight, I'm about halfway through. Only track I dislike is Settle the Car.

It growing on me. Way more than I thought it would on second listen.
