Anyone have any chipotle recommendations?

 

My recommend list. Separation is for top favs and then standard recommendations.

So, thats what I am remembering at the moment. They all vary in degrees of heat. I favor taste over heat, so none of these are just straight heat and probably none are extremely hot. I think on a 1-10 scale, the highest one is a 9. So if you're looking for Da Bomb or Mad Dog type stuff, this list isn't for you.

 

Dave's Crazy Caribbean is unreal good, I can also recommend that.

Took a walk over to the store near my house and was overwhelmed by the selection. I am a novice so I just went off of instinct, but I grabbed a bottle of Bravado Pineapple Habanero and Mountain Man Roasted Corn, Garlic, and Chipotle.

Both are really good. The Bravado seems to have the more kick of the two, but the pineapple really serves it well so is very pleasant.

 

I've been wanting to try that Pineapple Habanero from Bravado for a long time

 

Great list! I'm with you on taste over heat. Although I do love some heat.

I'm going to check for some of these online and start with the Gator Hammock. I've heard good things about em.

Will do! I see it's not on your list, but I've got a bottle of Secret Aardvark coming my way this week. I see a shit ton of good recs for that sauce so I'm pretty amped to try it.

 

I've heard of that one, too. I have never tried it, though. Its so expensive for an 8oz bottle. haha

My wife got me a bottle for Christmas and it's............. gone. Unbelievable flavor and it's so versatile. I used the last bit over the weekend in my chili but it's also great on pizza, eggs, mac n cheese, just on crackers, etc etc. Or if you're @Jason Tate, throw that shit on a pickle.

 

haha thats awesome. I'm excited to try it after hearing all the rave reviews. I put different kinds of hot sauces on almost everything, so can't wait to dab.

Just got into making my own. First batch turned out pretty damn good.

 

I really can't stress enough how everyone should order sauce from Queen Majesty at some point. They make an amazing product.

 

is it just me here or are the secret aardvark bottles basically impossible to get sauce out of

 

Yes it's quite annoying. If the bottles had some more flex in them it would be fine, but they're impossible to squeeze.

 

Huh, I’ve only ever had trouble when I’ve gotten to the bottom of the bottles.

I'm really glad everyone that tries it based on the recommendations from people here winds up liking it. It really is that great of a sauce.

 

Pokiland has their own sauce called Da Bomb and I always think of the one on hot ones.
