Not sure if any of ya'll know about Soothsayer hot sauce from Chicago. They've done collabs with a couple bands like Direct Hit! & Less Than Jake. Home
I just made my first hot sauce over the weekend and it turned out great. Used habaneros and roasted garlic as the main ingredients. Might've found a new hobby!

I bet theres a lot of good hot sauce recipes in this Natural Harvest: A collection of semen-based recipes: Paul "Fotie" Photenhauer: 8601400030240: Amazon.com: Books
Personally, from this lineup I've only previously tried The Last Dab and Louisiana, both of which are very good. I've had my eye on both The Bronx and Dawson's for a while, though. Seems like a really diverse lineup of flavors this time, which is pretty cool. That Adoboloco sauce sounds great as well. Going to be fun to see how that Mad Dog 357 Gold Edition messes with people. Can't wait to see who the first guest is next week.
I've only ever had Louisiana, which is a staple standard hot sauce in my fridge. Yeah, I'm excited to see who the first guest is and can't wait to see how bad it messes with em!
I like Louisiana a lot but I have to say that my staple American cayenne pepper sauce is definitely Crystal. I tried it after learning about it from last year's Hot Ones lineup reveal and it has since become my #1 for that style of hot sauce.
Oh nice, yeah Crystals good too. A bunch of diners near me have crystal on their tables, goes great with everything. For some reason, I love LA with pizza. Its almost a problem lol. I have a bunch of sauces that I use for different foods.
Hey, Louisiana and Crystal are way better on pizza than Tabasco. Tabasco is so prevalent in pizzerias, but I actively dislike red tabasco so I never use it. But when I want to spice up my pizza I usually just coat it with red pepper flakes. I find that the sauce often just drips right off when you go to bite into the slice and makes a mess haha
haha yeah I'm all about red pepper flakes. And yeah i totally know what you mean...but i slop up that mess with the crust and its hot sauce heaven
I haven't been able to find Crystal at the stores near me. I'd really like to pick it up. I have a ton of grocery store hot sauces (mostly Mexican style) because I went shopping buzzed (I walked) and way over-indulged. I bought a black El Yucatecco sauce that, to me, is just horrible. Positives and negatives.
With Yucateco the regular red and green are the best ones. Delicious. Check Amazon for Crystal, they should have it.
Yeah, I may have to cave and do that. One of my personal 2018 goals is to purchase less from Amazon. I ended my prime membership and want to do more of my shopping at actual stores.

I’m a novice when it comes to Hot Sauce, but Hot Ones has really peaked my interest since I started watching it. I just bought a house and then found out that there’s a specialty foods store downtown that sells a bunch of them, and that the Mad Dog sauces are made in the next town over. Think I’ll check some new ones out soon and work my way up to some more intense stuff.
The place I work at provides a lot of hot sauces with the meal, so I’ve tried a ton over the years. I’m sure they are fairly popular, and my knowledge isn’t that extensive since I don’t really go outside what the store provides, but I could write a fairly lengthy recommend list. If that’s something y’all are interested in.
