I've seen those ads too, I think I saw it at Buc-ee's the other day but didn't buy it

 

I did get Serrabanero (pretty good!) and Melinda's (very good!) there though

 

It's $30.00 per bottle. It sounds really good but uhhhhhhh that's a little too rich for my blood lol

I have a hard time spending more than 10 on Amazon with no shipping.

 

Maybe 88Rising's own Rich Brian can afford those prices, but I sure can't!

I'm all for the recent spike in hot sauce interest and craft hot sauces and especially what Hot Ones has done (Sean Evans and his team deserve all the respect), but good golly some of the prices for the brand are outlandish. Especially considering what you can get for 4 bucks (see the Melinda's conversation earlier in the thread). Not to mention, they are always out of TLD and there is quite consistently a shipping delay on Heatonist's site.

 

Isn't the last dab made by some proprietary pepper grown by one guy? So i thought they were extremely limited by whatever his crop is and what he can provide to them

Yeah that’s totally true, Pepper X i think? I did not really consider that.

 

Yeah The Last Dab is a special case because Pepper X only comes from Smokin’ Ed so its availability depends on his yield. Also explains why it’s $20 per bottle. I truly don’t know why that 88Rising sauce is so expensive lol.

 

It does sound good, though.

Was in the presence of legends tonight. The Last Dab scorched the top back of my mouth but Da Bomb changed my chromosomes.

 

Da Bomb is some of the foulest shit lol

 

i paid 17 for the truff hot sauce on amazon and i dunno if it's worth that but its damn good.
