It's pretty good. It reminds me of a verde but with more spice in it. I get a real strong black pepper taste. I tried it on a few things and thought it was best with scrambled eggs.
I love verdes...but its hard to compare this to others since its so unique. Have you tried Yellowbirds serrano sauce? It's one of the better ones Ive had. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00X8PAPL8/?tag=absolutepunk-20
yes ive had their serrano! i loved it! a friend of mine is from texas and he knows i love hot sauce so when he went out there once, he brought me back two bottles of yellowbird (serrano and blue agave sriracha)
ive had the serrano, habanero, and the blue agave. i enjoyed all three but would probably only go back to the serrano and habanero. i want to try their ghost pepper variant as well. its a small thing haha but i also absolutely love sauces with a nozzle and cap as opposed to just an opening or stopper, so thats good on them also.
haha yeah more precise pours! Ive only ever had their serrano but need to branch out..the blue agave sounds different. Going to look into that
its good. i think i just overdid it years ago when sriracha boomed here so now i tend to shy away from it in most forms. however, i do appreciate the fact that they are putting a unique spin on it.
theo von today? dont know much about him besides some podcast clips on IG. seems like a dude that will either strike people as v funny or v annoying
i literally just realized i said almost the same thing and didnt provide spoiler tags on my post. sorry to anyone who watched it and read my comment first!!!!
Just about done with my bottle of Secret Aardvark so I wanted to try something else. There’s a small specialty food store right near my house with a whole wall of options (photo below). I decided to go with a bottle of Dirty Dicks and a bottle of a smokey flavored El Yucateco. Excited to try both.
theo von's episode might be my fav ever. didn't know anything about him going in , but he was authentic and hilarious.
His podcast is great. He's a hilarious guest on everything he's on. He's one of those comedians that I think is better on podcasts than his special, but...I think when he puts out another special it'll be amazing. He acted like there were too many people involved in his first one and he didn't make it how he wanted.
