Ran out of Secret Aardvark today, but realized I had this in the pantry. Is this any good?

Surprised that this season ended after so short a number of episodes. New sauce lineup reveal next week though!

 

I thought the same thing. Crazy it was so short. But with a new lineup next week, I guess season 6 is around the corner!

Maybe its a good thing if the seasons are shorter, so we can get different sauces more frequently.

 

I'm definitely looking forward to the new lineup reveal. It's exciting to learn about new stuff/see what gets swapped out.

 

Had it yesterday, and it's not that bad. Definitely capitalizes on a smoky flavor.

 

Smokiness can be very good or very, very bad (see: Da Bomb) depending on how intense it is haha

 

Never reported back about the sauces you got! What did you think?

 

I never got around to ordering them. Although I have $67 worth of hot sauces in my Amazon cart right now haha

 

I ordered the el yucateco green, secret aardvark, queen majesty, and valentina black. Toned down the order a bit haha.

 

Can't go wrong with any of em

 

Overheard a lady at work saying she had a hot sauce party a few weeks ago. Basically everyone brought hot sauces and they lined em up like hot ones and went down the line. This sounds like a blast.

 

It's fairly smoky, and pretty heavily tomato-based. Just based off smell, someone thought I has eating ketchup on my burrito. Like I said, it's not bad, but after eating Secret Aardvark exclusively for about six months, it's not as good.

 

So few things, if any, are.

 

Been really diggin this one lately. Id say its in line with sauces like Valentina. Sooo damn good.

 

Where are you finding this one?

 

I got some packets of it in a Fuego Box and loved it. I ended up ordering it off of their website after that.
Or the companies direct site is Palo Alto Firefighters Pepper Sauce

 

I had this in my Amazon cart to order too but I canceled it because it'd only arrive after I leave for vacation. The reviews make it sound amazing.

Ahh thats a bummer. I've been putting it on literally everything lately haha.
