I wouldn’t consider it one, but I really did enjoy it! I’m looking for something more along the lines of The Void, The Thing, etc.

Just started The Beach House on Shudder. Stay tuned..

Update: little slow to start, but it turns into an awesome, ambitious body horror. Love it.

Just finished. Overall, I’m very satisfied. It was exactly what I was in the mood for. Fantastic execution given the budget.

Crawl is like the definition of a creature feature lol

I tend to leave "real animals" out of the creature feature category, but it's debatable. I'm not going to call Jaws a creature feature, but if the shark had a laser on it's head I would... don't @ me @ChaseTx

Relic thoughts below. No spoilers, but I know some people don’t want to read anything that could shape their opinion.

Talent and cinematography on point. Beautifully shot, but I found the pacing to be a little slow. This is weird considering the film comes in at under 90 minutes. I’m also not in the best headspace for this right now..will watch again at some point.

As much as I liked Crawl I will take the creature features of old where it was stop-motion animation or purely practical effects over that as I find them to be just as good but more charming and entertaining because of the production techniques.

Just finished The Vast of Night. Pretty good, and very well shot. Director definitely has a future in the genre.

I wish I could enjoy those because there's so much to choose from. Were you introduced to those at a young age? I ask because I never saw them as a kid, so now I'll try to get through them as an adult and I just can't. It's like I don't have the palate for them...but I want to....if that makes sense.

Loved Vast of Night! It was such a clean film. Script was especially well done.

  24. Not at all related, but that's exactly how I feel with Knights of the Old Republic and any other games that are that old or older haha

Hahah that's not even that old, but I hear you! It's difficult to connect with things that are past your time when you weren't brought up with them. I don't know...just a personal thing.
