well regardless of what reviews say, I have off work for Friday the 13th, going to see it early in the day, then spend the rest of the day watching Christmas horror movies. definitely Krampus and Anna and the Apocalypse.

edit: Probably Rare Exports and Gremlins as well

I appreciate the gore in it and like the cast a lot, but something always feels off when I watch it.

I’ve watched all of two sentence horror stories. I like them because they are short and to the point, but some are deff better than others.

I watched head count and really liked it. Did you end up watching it?

  10. I didn't, but if you'd recommend it, I'll add it to the list!

Has anyone watched either of the Into the Dark Christmas ones? We started Pooka last night but I was way too tired and I saw the most recent one is also another Christmas movie.

I do! I am still thinking about it 2 days later which is more than I can say for 95% of movies I watch lol but I consume a lot of Netflix horror that goes in one eye and out the other lmao
It’s a little slow moving to start but once it picks up it’s great.

Pooka was okay but imo one of the weakest Into The Dark
I haven’t seen this months but all of the into the darks are holiday/monthly themed so it makes sense. Although they could have done a Hanukkah or kwanza movie or something for sure

I haven’t seen Pooka but the new one was pretty interesting. Some messy aspects that hurt my enjoyment a bit, but it’s pretty timely with its satire and references some great movies either explicitly or by theme.

  21. Black Christmas reviews are looking mixed, but a lot of the positive ones are mentioning its feminist angle, so I'm really, really hoping it's good (or at the very least, fun)

Since it’s F13 today, I decided today would be a good day to watch Christmas horror movies.

watched Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale earlier, didn’t really like it.

watching Saint (Sint) now and this one is pretty dope.

Last I checked Christmas Evil is on Shudder. I watched that in high school and really gave me an uneasy feeling.
