3 or Zombie 2 because both rule!

 

Both baaaaad. I mean I get why someone might possibly like 3, but Zombie 2 was just dreadful in every conceivable way. Like to the point where I think a group of 5 year olds could make a better film

 

5 year olds don't understand how to depict trauma and PTSD. They'd probably make Michael Myers part of an evil cult if they were able to make a film

 

Zombie 1 and 2 are both better than 2018

I haven’t even seen 2018 yet and I know it’s better than Zombie 2.

Just opened up the It DVD with Walmart-exclusive cover and found out it doesn't have the special features that are on a separate disc in the normal release...

Oh well. There'll probably eventually be a special edition containing both chapters and all special features. All I really wanted was to rewatch the movie without torrenting or renting so I guess it'll serve its purpose.

Went to Target, Best Buy, and then finally Walmart (they're in the same plaza haha) to buy It on DVD. This cover is really cool, though. I'm not even mad.

Oh easily. 2018 had kernels of a good flick in it

This is the only place where I've seen so much support for Zombie's Halloween films.

I can tolerate the first, but 2 is absolute trash. It is one of the worst movies I've ever seen in theaters.

The plot to Halloween 6 sounded interesting, so I just watched it.


And now I will try to forget it ever existed.

 

Out of what I’ve seen...

1 > 2 > 2018 > 4 > 3 > 5 > 6

 

Finished my rewatch of It. I still feel the same. So close to being great, but there's just something about it that I can't quite put my finger on. It's like, it's trying to achieve this accessibility towards a mainstream audience by sticking to genre conventions that don't always fit, so while it ends up in a great spot, it stumbles a lot on the way. The thing is, there's just nothing glaringly wrong with the movie. idk. I still like it tho
