It's so bad I can't even imagine thinking it was good

 

The first one is fine. I've seen a lot worse

 

speaking of Rob Zombie, they just announced a House of 1000 Corpses haunted house at Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights this year. This is my first year going and I am so excited.

 

I think I say this every 4-5 pages cause this topic comes up so much in here, but I genuinely don’t understand the appeal of Rob Zombie films. They aren’t fun, they’re just grimy and exploitive.

I still love House of 1000 Corpses. His first Halloween film and The Devil's Rejects are okay. The rest has been quite bad.

Worst part about Zombie's first Halloween movie is the completely unnecessary r*pe scene. Outside of that, it's an interesting take.

 

Ready or Not comes out on my Birthday! Super excited based on the amazing reviews so far.

 

This could be very cool, if done correctly. Excited to see what comes of this.

 

watched Sadako vs Kayako yesterday. i love-hate it so much it’s so absurd

like if you get drunk with a group of friends i feel like that’s the only way you’ll be able to come up with the script

 

That movie was the best. The worst best

 

the part where they were trying to “show off” the power of each ghost at the beginning, and the battle between them - i was cringing and laughing so hard

and the cool guy casting spells and shit. that was so cool

 

yeah that combination of people and studio, I'm in haha. the interactive movie gimmick could certainly be very hit or miss, but certainly willing to give it a go.

 

I'm going to see Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark tonight and I couldn't be more excited! Has anyone seen this more than once?

I'm going with people from work and my gf can't go, so she wants me to go again with her this weekend

 

I need Ready or Not tickets to go on sale at my local theater

 

Only 30 min in to Into The Dark’s School Spirit, but am enjoying it so far, the first death of the main cast is gnarly

 

watched Pooka and New Year New You but those stories didn’t work for me at all. i want to try the other episodes but idk i feel like it’s going to be the same thing.

 

Yeah most of them have been hit or miss with me.

so hard to talk about horror films in the workplace and in my area, people are genuinely surprised when they find out i like the genre a lot so this is pretty much the only place i can find cool recs

 

Same here. I haven’t told anyone yet.

 

Finally got around to watching Us. It was amazing.

 

Still haven’t seen Us, but I’ve decided to wait until it’s closer to Halloween to dig in.

Actually, that goes for plenty of horror movies in recent memory I’ve yet to see. Halloween (2018), Happy Death Day 2U, Overlord, Hell Fest, Child’s Play (new), Pet Sematary (new), Ma, Crawl, etc.

I’m going to be very busy Halloween week.

 

Us isn’t particularly Halloweeny even though it’s horror.

 

That's what I'm waiting on to watch Scary Stories. Assuming it's out to rent at that time.
