Been busy the past week so haven't gotten in as much horror as I'd like. Watched F13 part 7? The New Blood. Definitely not great but a fun twist on it with Carrie vs Jason haha. I don't know that I've heard anything good about Jason Takes Manhattan, so I'm a little nervous haha. i want to knock the rest of these out so i can start NOES.

 

Planning to go see Scary Stories on Thursday. Gonna skim through all three books beforehand also. Pretty excited tbh.

 

I’m seeing it on Saturday. I can’t wait

 

Forgot to mention I watched Final Destination 3 and The Final Destination last week. I liked 3 more than I expected. I have a soft spot for MEW, and I think all the kills are fun. The kills in 4 use too much CGI a lot of the time, and it looks so dated nowadays.

I think my ranking as of now would be 2 >> 3 > 1 >>>> 4. Still need to watch 5, which I've never seen.

 

The Finaler Destination?

 

I had to explain this to my friend who I'm watching them with because it was understandably confusing how The Final Destination was NOT the last one haha.

 

It's because it was meant to be the last originally

 

I was so mad when that title was announced.

 

Is Final Destination being rebooted or am I just making that up in my head?

 

It is.

 

Gotta assume every big horror franchise will be getting a reboot anyway haha

 

Damn. That’s hard. I loved FvJ though. House of 1000 Corpses too.

 

Wrong Turn/Texas Chainsaw for me

 

I remember my friends being super pissed off at me for taking them to see Wrong Turn. That was fun.

 

Texas Chainsaw. Nothing beats the original, but it’s still good.

 

I haven’t seen any of those. That era is not my favorite for horror.

 

Corpses

 

You’re not missing much

 

1000 Corpses is the only one I’ve ever even thought about watching. Anything in that “grimy” realm is just not my thing.

 

I’ve seen 1000 Corpses and The Devil’s Rejects and didn’t like them. I’ve been meaning to see his Halloween remakes. I saw his movie 31 recently and that was a lot of fun.

His first Halloween was good. Idk wtf happened with the second one
