A page late, but Chernobyl reminded me how much I stan Jared Harris so I might fuck around and watch The Terror now

I think that’s my main memory from most of that era. They were all so crazy loud and it so rarely fit the rest of the tone, but everybody had to do it. Stigmata is one that I always think about doing that, maybe one of the earliest that I remember seeing.

 

My mom's famous line when I was young was "Kiana, I think you're going down a dark path."

Things that were on the dark path: the movie Constantine starring Keanu Reeves, Series of Unfortunate Events books, Hellraiser, My Chemical Romance, black hair dye

 

Having naturally black hair destined me to the angsty emo world for sure.

I never dyed my hair black but it's a dark enough brown that ppl assume it's black anyway so I had that going for me

Was able to catch the 4K remaster of the shining tonight at the TIFF lightbox and ya.... that was a fucking experience. First time seeing it on the big screen and woooof that was wild

 

I have a guilty pleasure in the Scream 3 soundtrack which I had on CD

 

Nothing like a pg-13 horror where it ends but then SURPRISE IS THE KILLER REALLY DEAD?? *NU METAL BLASTING AS CREDITS ROLL*
