Southbound is a lot of fun.
    That hospital scene was amazing.

  9. Watched Misery last night on glorious VHS and man, it's a classic. So simple and straightforward, literally like five characters in the movie, and despite noticing tropes that would go on to be staples of captive movies, it's still tense and unsettling as hell due to the powerhouse performances and directing. What a great King adaptation.

Grindhouse tonight! Haven't seen these in almost a decade, been wanting to rewatch them for months.

edit: an hour into Planet Terror and I just said out loud to myself, "This movie fucking rules." Damn shame we never got a second installment, even if Death Proof is a little shakier.

It’s, in my own opinion, the best cinematic take on any of his work. Kathy Bates delved deep and was beyond convincing.

Just watched Shivers and man oh man was that dumb. A parasite that turns people into savage rapists.
This and Rabid are my next Cronenberg movies.

i've seen Rabid but not Shivers. i have Naked Lunch and The Brood on deck. my cousin owns like all of Cronenberg's stuff and loaned them all to me and the only ones I didn't get from him were Dead Ringers, Shivers, and Existenz i believe
