New In The City But Down For The Night

Watched Among The Living the other night. First half was great, totally lost its way in the second. Still have high hopes for them doing Leatherface though.

Southbound is the best horror flick I've seen this year so far.

I tweeted about how The Houses October Built missed a chance for a good ending and the director tweeted me back "maybe it was an intermission?" Uh what? I can't find anything about there being another movie to possibly be released?

I'm not Haha. I don't have any team in particular that I like. I follow the Marlins because I live in the area. I just like baseball in general.

Ah I gotcha. Glad it's baseball season again, love this time of the year.

Just finishing up Southbound. Not sure how I feel about it, tbh. I thought it was imaginative, but not one character was like-able enough to care for.

Is The Purge: Anarchy the kind of sequel where I can skip the original?

I think you can skip. 2 was waaaaay better, imo.

    are we having fun yet?

started watching Tobe Hooper's Night Terrors the other night and had to turn it off after 30 minutes... the beginning of his steady decline.

Never seen ROTLD. I'm slacking on 80s horror in general.

Heads up if anyone wants the Deluxe ROTLD, which comes with the variant O-card and poster, it WILL sell out at some point tomorrow. Otherwise, the standard Collector's Edition will never sell out

I've been slowly getting through the classics. Must of them aren't streaming anywhere so it's just what I can find on DVD for cheap. Haha

Wow, Baskin was quite a rush. I don't normally mind a little ambiguity, but I do think it could have benefited from just a little more narrative and character development, but I still loved every minute of it. Pretty much like if Clive Barker and Rob Zombie had a baby who loved Suspiria.
