I gave Annihilation an honorable mention for the bear scene alone haha

Definitely leans more into Sci-Fi, with horror elements used throughout.

i think the genre lines are generally considered to be pretty loose and anything with elements of horror gets counted as such

I don't consider it a horror film, but it was the most horrorific film of the year

Eighth Grade is the best horror film of the year

    Doing fine. Prestigious

If you’re into Keating movies, Carnage Park is worth it. It’s a little more straightforward than some of his full on art house horror. I haven’t seen Ghost Stories, so I can’t help you there.

I love Carnage Park so much, I think it's way more stylistically adventurous than people give it credit for

    Ghost Stories was very solid

All jokes aside, I can’t think of the last time I have sunk so low into my seat as to not exist and somehow avoid what was happening on screen. Even when I was wrong and things didn’t go wrong I was filled with intense anxiety

Letterboxd lets you search by genre, release date, etc. Just saying.

I mentioned this in the Eighth Grade thread after I saw it but when it comes to anxiety and social awkwardness, who knew a guy in his mid 30s could so relate so much to a 14 year old Gen Z girl.

I won't lie I kind of love candles haha. it's part of my home theatre watching experience. I have one on each side of my entertainment center that adds a really nice aesthetic haha. don't judge me. I would totally want these but I can't figure out if that price is 48 dollars for all 6, or 48 dollars for one candle... haha

yeah that is unclear. You have to choose a scent/genre when you add it to your cart, so... I think it's for one candle

Mostly went off of lists on Wiki; probably wouldn't personally categorize some of those as horror. Didn't include things I've only seen bits of (The Shining).
