Actually started watching that today. Why didn’t anyone tell me about the tarantulas scene?

started strong but fell off for me unfortunately, didn't enjoy anything after the second segment. Chat Pile in the credits was sick though

feeling a rewatch of Beyond now that one didn't get the credit it deserves

Something Wicked This Way Comes was good. I want to live in that town forever. Makes me hate living in Florida even more lol

  13. if it's not for you, it's not for you and I get it but this was Casper Kelly's segment and was 100% intentional lol he did Too Many Cooks and the Yule Log movies. So the schtick is definitely surreal/absurdist nightmare comedy and I adored it. Felt super fresh for the series

  14. Loved Home Haunt too. Really enjoyed the VHS: Halloween vibes minus the AI in the first segment and Kidprint as a whole. Also loved hearing Chat Pile over the credits. My current ranking, with the exception of Siren (which I haven't seen), is probably:

    Kids vs. Aliens
    VHS94
    VHS2
    VHS
    VHS85
    -------------
    VHS Halloween
    VHS Beyond
    -------------
    VHS99
    VHS Viral

I didn't know that! Too Many Cooks was a classic when I was in high school, thanks for the heads up. maybe I went into it with the wrong attitude, was expecting to get scared and instead it came off goofy but I might like it more with a different mindset

however I am currently way too high for anything to do with VHS lol think its Predator night tonight

    Nick Offerman?!

I haven't seen it since it came out so it's like a whole new movie. I remembered the main cast for the most part but so many lil surprises

Edit: Jesse eisenberg's internet search on wolves scene should be in the Smithsonian
