Started off the spooky season with Dream Warriors. I’ve also been reading Hidden Pictures which has spooky mystery thriller vibes so far.
That would be amazing while I get my Plex access sorted out Some really wild and amazing stuff on here. Including the Alien Autopsy tape is crazy lol same with Begotten. Bad Hair is a pleasant surprise, very underrated, and a lot of folks in here know I ride for Bloody Muscle Body Builder in Hell. Disconnected also rocks.
Finished house stuff before bed last night, which is a rarity these days. and watched Trick 'r Treat for the first time in a decade with a couple of beers/ciders. Didn't even realize it was October 1st, lol
I'm sorry that I missed the first of the month because I'm PREPARING TO HOST A HORROR FESTIVAL IN A WEEK AND A HALF BRADLEY
I read that as “and a half bradley” and searched the internet for “half bradley” before i came back and read the sentence correctly lol
Adrienne Barbeau is a fucking gangster lol. We are having issues with The Fog screening because the rights-holder has an internal policy that you have to use a very specific and unique format to show any film when talent is present. Super-high quality, but it involves equipment we simply don't have. She straight-up volunteered to leave the premises during the showing so that talent wasn't technically present. We obviously aren't going to take her up on that, but she is so, so sweet. A real one.
Oh, there are now clues for The Last Drive-In's "Survival Night" tomorrow but I haven't really thought about it or looked into guesses yet. In addition to both films being about "psycho killers," these are the clues: "...an outstanding but neglected 90s thriller...and an 80s slasher that everyone thinks SHOULD be neglected -- except for one person, our big-shot celebrity guest." Maybe something like Copycat and The Burning?

Oh yea! I forgot that Trick r Treat was getting another theatrical run. I always found that movie to be such a grower. My expectations were so high when I first saw it that it sort of let me down, but it’s really found a place in my heart over the past 10 years.
