yes! I only read it for the first time last year on my extended Dark Tower read. fair warning it's... pretty much a fantasy book haha, there's not a lot of horror because he wrote it for his kids, but it's a fun light read
also The Long Walk might be my favourite of the year, I can't stop thinking about it. gorgeous, brutal movie
Watched Takeout on Tubi, same director as Slay. Really good for a Tubi original, a lot better than I expected and some fun twists.
I'm only like 30 pages in but it certainly is a pivot from standard King fare. However, like I mentioned, I've been on such a fantasy kick anyway that I will undoubtedly enjoy the format, even if it is lighter. I assume it ties into the Dark Tower? I mean, I know a lot of his stuff does but this seems like a no brainer.
Does this happen on Shudder? Do you have any guesses as to the movies? Maybe I’ll try to catch this one for Gore-Us. Survival horror doesn’t necessarily interest me but it could be fun.
yep I'll try not to spoil too much but it provides a lot of background on one of his most iconic villains
Yep, starts on the "It Came From Shudder" channel on the app at 9pm EST. No guesses as to the movie - he said in the video they were both about "psycho killers," so Dangerous Animals could be one of them, although they already did a killer creatures night.
The Last Drive-In has three double-features in October, and one of them is the AMC double-feature of A Nightmare on Elm Street and Freddy vs. Jason.

Ran through Scary Movie 1-3 the last few days. Grew up watching these movies so I’ve got a healthy amount of nostalgia attached but 2 is soooooooo rough. 3 is still my favorite.
