Definitely didn't but I'm sure it was by design and I trust whatever Garland and zboyle hVe in mind, although I understand why it's polarizing lol
Bloodlines ruled. Easily my favorite in the series. Kills were absolutely brutal and best story in the franchise. 6 5 3 2 1 4
finally got to rewatching Triangle after buying the bluray several weeks ago. this film is so fucking cool. such perfect execution. i forgot how sad the ending is.
Watched 28 Days Later for the first time. Forgot I had it on DVD. Good stuff. I knew there was something off about the soldiers, simply bc there was still so much of the film left, but the reveal made me roll my eyes a bit. I guess it worked out in the end tho edit: oh dang, one of the alternate endings is like super dark
I want to say Days > Weeks, but when the outbreak starts in Weeks, it’s really good. The helicopter scene was dope.
just watched 28 Weeks Later. not bad! a little messy but that's fine. ready to see 28 Years Later now, really interested to see where it picks up
yesyesyes the ending of Presence is so good just watched Fear Street Prom Queen. it's not bad, just kinda boring. and i'm not really sure how it ties into the supernatural lore established in the previous films at all. the kills were pretty gnarly, tho.
saw Barbarian was on Netflix so i finally rewatched it. it's so fucking good. i wish they'd release it on bluray already.
Years was... fucking insane lol. two of my group loved it and 2 more thought it was one of the worst movies they'd ever seen. I genuinely don't know how all the ridiculous tone changes are gonna hold up in the future but a couple scenes hit me like a truck. all-timer score from Young Fathers on it too
