i prefer to see trailers in theaters if i can so i'm not gonna watch that now, but i have faith in maggie and jessie
The consensus for The Long Walk has been very good I see. I am reading it now and plan on seeing it afterwards. Been on a bit of a King kick lately so I'm stoked. Also finally getting more freed up for movies after a race this coming weekend. Bring on fall!
Black Pumpkin (2018) ⭐ 4.3 | Horror Lol I just learned that there's a Halloween movie from 2018 called Black Pumpkin starring Matt Rife.
Admire the effort Warwick put into the role, but I just didnt find Leperchaun to be anything but dreadful lol
I watched Halloween II lastnight for the first time. I think I might like it more than the original?? Or at least equal to it. Fun movie.
Yeah, it rocks. I love viewing it as the other side of the same coin, both in that it immediately picks up where the first film left off and also in that the first film is more subdued and atmospheric while II is more visceral and violent
Halloween 4 is that one for me. I know the cultural relevence and importance of the original, but if I'm reaching for a Halloween franchise movie to watch, 4 is always my first choice.
I love the long shot of Michael hearing the news report that Laurie's in the hospital and striding off in II, such a fucking cool scene
yeah, watching 1 and 2 as a double feature would be a lot of fun. makes sense to watch them both back to back. i haven't seen any of the sequels, so i'm looking forward to 3 and 4 next.
Sincere question, not trying to start an argument: I’m pretty sure I saw a Letterboxd review a couple weeks ago saying that it was full of AI imagery. Is that true, and to what extent?
It's pretty effective but you always have to expect some level of cheese with the mockumentary style. The photoshopped pictures are pretty bad and funny.
