The Night of the Reaper is pretty fun. Doesn’t all come together and gets a little annoying in one part before the final act hits and whether you like the film will be whether that works for you.
Doesn't seem like the Hack O Lantern episode of TLDI is on Shudder anymore. Gonna have to watch something else for Gore-Us
Watched Madman for Aaron's Gore-UIs category. Originally wanted to do Hack-O-Lantern (still gonna watch it next month) for it, but it's no longer on Shudder. Joe Bob is a pretty entertaining dude, enjoy his quippiness. Keep telling myself I need to watch more TLDI. As for Madman, I wasn't too into it. Other movies did it a lot better and were way more fun to watch than this. The characters just felt so lifeless and lacked chemistry with each other. I liked how silly Madman Marz looked and the kills weren't bad at all
I couldn’t stand him when I watched an episode years ago (his commentary was exactly what I expected from an old white dude named Joe Bob), but I’m going to give it another shot for Gore-Us.
Splitsville was indeed very good and very funny. i got there halfway through the trailers but did manage to catch the one for Keeper, which was nice to see again. i think that might've been the only horror trailer we got. or at least i hope it was so i didn't miss anything cool
Considering it's a character, he's definitely leaned into this while also getting more and more progressive over the show's run, especially as Darcy has gotten more involved. He's kind of like a problematic uncle with a good heart. Some of the early episodes are a little rougher around the edges. Do you know what movie you're planning on watching with him?
not yet, but bearing this in mind, i’ll probably watch a more recent special. i believe the one i first tried was chopping mall. huge bummer because i love that movie and was excited to show it to my then-partner, but neither of us could stomach joe bob so we bailed and for some reason we never ended up just watching the movie lol
Watching Arachnophobia for my biggest fear Gore-Us pick. Haven't seen it since I was a kid, it's probably why I'm afraid of spiders to begin with.
Watching Dr. Giggles for Actionboyz and decided on the JoeBob version, so I’ll count this for gore-us. The cover art was also iconic at Blockbuster
