this is fucking rad. Finally get to see F13 3D in the theater with the glasses! Regal Cinema Is Offering “31 Screams On Screen” For $8.99 Per Ticket This Fall it’s also kind of a problem….im gonna wanna be there almost every night haha like, Halloween 3 in theatres ON HALLOWEEN? Duuuuude
I've been very slowly reading through Clive Barker's Books of Blood and just yesterday got to the short story Candyman was based on. have my problems with that movie but they did a fantastic job expanding it into a longer story without losing the creeping dread and Tony Todd really was one of the best castings in history now if only I could find a copy of Hellbound Heart that isn't 40 bucks for a less than 200-page story lol
Seeing Evil Puddle again this weekend. Hopefully it’s as fun as the last screening I went to. I think it’s getting released sometime in October and I implore you all to watch it. (Along with all the other Motern movies, especially Don’t Let The Riverbeast Get You.) Not really horror but idc. The right ethos is there.
Lol, my friend who worked on it said it's much better than the first cut she saw (aesthetics are sick), but that the problem was with the script itself and you can only do so much. She said they cut around a lot to recharacterize things and that the ending is an obvious reshoot. I'm still interested.
Turns out maybe it's too early in the morning to watch the first 10 minutes of Terrifier 2, so I'll come back to this later, haha.
Bad reviews make me want to wait for streaming. If I’m going to the theatre I’m trying to really enjoy it.
I feel like half the time online reviewers are just trying to be the funniest/harshest person, so I take every review with the smallest grain of salt, if I even read one. Reading one-liner Letterboxd reviews especially make me want to never read another persons opinion on anything haha.
I didn’t end up seeing the materialists in theaters partially because I ran out of time and partially because people on here said it stunk. Watched it last weekend and thought it ruled.
I'll probably wait for streaming for Him. I was never really sold on the premise, but the trailer looked interesting. Don't feel compelled to see it in theaters tho.
