I’m begging for more escape room movies

 

It definitely made enough money to justify a third, even if reviews were mixed. They are very easy watching, formulaic in a very fun and comfortable way

 

can't believe we just got Conjuring: Oculus
nah that was solid, they definitely did the research to make fans of the first Conjuring happy lmao. a little fan servicey but some good shots and scares, I'm not mad I saw it like I was after 3

 

that may well be the most positive review I've ever seen for one of those movies

I’m so glad I just watched Anaconda. It’s so bad.

 

Did an extra credit pick for Gore-Us with XX for the anthology. I liked it more than I didn’t. I’d rank the shorts in the order they were shown in, oddly enough. I can’t call any of the shorts great, felt like they all had some missing pieces but I didn’t hate anything

 

i guess that's fair. i adore the segment from annie clark with melanie lynskey so maybe i remember the whole more fondly

 

I liked her style, hope to see her direct more in the near future

 

Goddamn. I had to reset my computer and didn't realize that would delete my whole Plex server. I still have all the actual files on my external hard drive, but all the curating I've done, collections and artwork etc. is gone. Not gonna lie, I feel pretty ridiculous with how upset I am about it, but I put a ton of hours into that.

 

Watched dangerous animals last night. A few fun scenes but overall ehhh.

in general i feel like every short could've used a few more minutes to flesh things out. the anthology as a whole got nice vibes, it's the individual stories that are a little lacking

this is unfortunately $100 for 4K. i could theoretically get it for $90 with my AAA24 discount, but that's still too high. if it were even $60 i'd probably pick it up, but $100 is a lot for a ton of people.

I’m actually surprised they didn’t go with the legacy sequel schtick of simply naming it, “Scary Movie,” like Scream or Halloween.

 

Pet Sematary 2 is such a good bad movie. Clancy Brown’s character used to haunt me as a kid. Much funnier now as an adult, but still charming.
