Doing Azrael for the cult pick. About a quarter of the way through it now and I’m in so far

 

just watched a trailer. apparently it's free (or mostly at least) of dialogue. looks interesting

Mandy is GOATed but Azrael is also very rad

 

I loved Taylor Russell in Bones and All, so I watched the Escape Room movies and, yeah, they're okay.

I didn't know Indya Moore was trans until just now

 

Haven’t seen Escape Room: Tournament of Champs. Worth a watch?

 

only if you enjoyed the first one. it's not particularly better or worse, just more of the same

 

Started Body Melt for my body horror pick but 40 minutes in and not a lot of body horror yet. It is pretty wacky though.

 

The Cabin in the Woods is always such a fun watch. Read that production wrapped in 09. I know that it didn’t release until 2011, but it STILL feels ahead of its time.

 

Cabin in the Woods is fun. still laugh at the idea that someone that looks as jacked as Chris Hemsworth is believably supposed to be a sociology major (as someone with two degrees in the field - and a third on the way - and looks nothing like him/knows nobody in my field who looks like him, lmao).

 

there is a lot less body melting than you'd expect, but it's pretty short and painless

 

Watching Pumpkinhead, but just for the love of the game, not as my Gore-Us pick.

 

there was a little bit, but yeah I was expecting much more. still had a decent time.

 

movie is so much fun

 

One of my favorites. Was hoping for more over the years

 

I enjoyed it for what it is, a very dumb jump scare fest with a decent amount of heart. Some really effective spooky scenes.

 

I'm seeing the new Conjuring in a couple hours, will give my official verdict soon

 

Probably not a good sign that we still don’t have reviews for HIM lol

 

The Running Man trailer looks a lot more funny than I expected
