Venom didn’t really age well for me. Still has its moments but god these characters are obnoxious lol
Between work and being a Dad and Fest, my Gore-Us activities are like...exclusively limited to the weekends, unfortunately. Fatherhood made me go from averaging 8 films a week to 3, which is probably a healthy change, but still...damn. Lol
I still haven’t started on my Gore-Us. I’ve been too drained after work the past couple weeks so I just keep throwing on Survivor. And tonight I’m seeing Splitsville.
i haven't started, either. i've been reading comics and playing Hollow Knight. it's gotten colder tho, finally. also wanna see Splitsville. And Demon Slayer. i don't think i've watched a horror movie in weeks, actually...
Yeah planning a wedding for two weeks after Halloween isn't helping with my list. I did get one in though. Going to try for another if I get out of work early enough today.
The bird had six eyes. It’s a horror movie. I liked it! I thought the end felt way too rushed which brought the whole thing down for me, but it was good. The music went surprisingly hard. so anyway, that was my Gore-Us pick for the animal protagonist category (jk)
Over the last week, I’ve been taking a break from the Tubi slop. Mostly have been watching old monster movies from the 30s/40s the Return of the Vampire and Son of Dracula. Also, I’ve been reading We Used to Live Here. It’s about a queer couple involving an old house and many secrets about the former family who lived there. Pretty sure Netflix bought the right for a film.
got a little more than halfway through Altered States and decided I best finish tomorrow. getting a bit tired but it rules so far
