Kicking off spooky season with this

 

Very good, and depressing, documentary

 

Wow, I’m so glad I decided to watch MadS tonight, and with headphones. It’s a must watch imo. Big Gasper Noe (but not as upsetting) + REC/28DL vibes.

 

Currently watching Body Melt. Last time I tried to make it through this, I was too high and had a panic attack lol.

 

Has anyone watched the Street Trash remake? I've heard good things. Did not like the original when I watched it, but I'm going to try again with the Joe Bob episode (maybe even for Gore-Us)

 

Bugonia is apparently a remake of a Korean film so if you look that up you can spoil the ending like I just did (tho ofc there's a chance Yorgos takes it in a different direction)

 

It's a pretty fun little anthology. A lot of recognizable actors in retellings of cliched campfire stories. Not a must-watch, but I had a good time.

 

Watched it a couple months ago. It was definitely entertaining

No one went to see Toxic Avenger yet?

 

I saw it today. Had a great time. I’d say a good chunk of the jokes landed with a thud, and I thought it could’ve used a few more over the top kills, but overall I thought it ruled. The CGI didn’t actually bother me as much as I expected, and the performances were pretty delightful.

I started Kwaidan and it’s great but I think I’m going to save the rest for tomorrow so I can watch something sillier. Maybe the original I Know What You Did Last Summer?

I’m watching the OG IKWYDLS and the main jerk just started screaming underwater but came up totally fine lol

 

Watching this. The cold open is a fun Scream parody.

Spookies is a 5/5 classic for me

 

I thought the original I Know What You Did Last Summer really stunk. I strongly disliked the characters and found the whole thing surprisingly bland; it didn’t even have that 90s charm. I was surprised to realize Kevin Williamson wrote it.

 

I both loved and loathed it
