Currently watching Body Melt. Last time I tried to make it through this, I was too high and had a panic attack lol.
Has anyone watched the Street Trash remake? I've heard good things. Did not like the original when I watched it, but I'm going to try again with the Joe Bob episode (maybe even for Gore-Us)
Bugonia is apparently a remake of a Korean film so if you look that up you can spoil the ending like I just did (tho ofc there's a chance Yorgos takes it in a different direction)
It's a pretty fun little anthology. A lot of recognizable actors in retellings of cliched campfire stories. Not a must-watch, but I had a good time.
I saw it today. Had a great time. I’d say a good chunk of the jokes landed with a thud, and I thought it could’ve used a few more over the top kills, but overall I thought it ruled. The CGI didn’t actually bother me as much as I expected, and the performances were pretty delightful.
I started Kwaidan and it’s great but I think I’m going to save the rest for tomorrow so I can watch something sillier. Maybe the original I Know What You Did Last Summer?
I’m watching the OG IKWYDLS and the main jerk just started screaming underwater but came up totally fine lol
I thought the original I Know What You Did Last Summer really stunk. I strongly disliked the characters and found the whole thing surprisingly bland; it didn’t even have that 90s charm. I was surprised to realize Kevin Williamson wrote it.
