They can be hit or miss but mostly fun imo. The new one coming out in October will be Halloween themed
I don't think I'm going to be able to make it before it leaves. Fiance wants to see it, but not in theaters, and she'd be bummed if I went without her.
I think I've seen all the VHS movies except Viral, but have a lot of trouble remembering which one is which. Southbound is a fun anthology that needs more love. Maybe I just like it because it's about driving through the desert which is how I spent most of my youth, but it's got segments from Radio Silence, the guy that did The Ritual and The Night House, and Roxanne Benjamin who's done stuff in several VHSs and XX.
is she avoiding this in theaters, or theaters in general? i thought it was fun with a crowd but i can understand covid concerns or sensory issues
The V/H/S movies are all pretty much fun for what they are, the first two and 94 in particular. Excited for the new one!
I think she's too scared lol, but we're also limiting our theater visits this year until after the wedding in November to save money.
I’m waiting to see Weapons at home because my last few theater experiences have been shit. It’s been filthy. I went on a Sunday at like 10am… 4 people there plus me. They were talking like they were in their own living room. I’m beginning to think that a midnight showing is the last true experience, for me. I’m just making the assumption that those late showings are for the die-hards. EDIT: That last line sounds dumb. To elaborate.. if people are committing to going to that showing, it’s because they actually want to be there and have stake in the experience, that’s all.
Yeah I keep considering cancelilling AList because of how bad other theater goers have become but I'm at least waiting until after One Battle
I haven't had run ins with any theater goers that was egregiously bad, but I am getting annoyed at AMC for starting trailers five minutes after showtime and showing ads in between trailers
Whoa! Bite your tongue, @angrycandy ! Lol. Yea.. og isn’t great, but I did really enjoy the imagery. I also found the actors at least to be somewhat committed. Revelation was more of a letdown, imo.
