watched Midnight in the Switchgrass, also on Netflix but "leaving soon." more of a thriller than horror. not good but not bad. Bruce Willis plays a secondary role and doesn't really get to do much, but to see him in something he did recently before his health declined was... nice, i guess. Megan is good in this as well, despite it being a pretty boring movie overall. i love that she's playing within the horror/thriller space but i hate seeing her in such mediocre movies, i wish she got the chance to be in something truly great for once
i don't think i've ever had a blt, it sounds weird to me. outside of breakfast food, i've always seen bacon as an add-on to like burgers or salads, never the main meat to a sandwich. also if i had to choose only three ingredients, tomato wouldn't be one of them. but hey, i got an idea for next time, you and your partner should try this out
Watched Grave Encounters and Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum last night. Loved both movies even if they were the exact same movie. Gonjiam might be my favorite found footage movie ever along with the original Hell House. Incredibly unsettling.
Gonjiam teasing a door that won't open has maybe the best reveal for what's behind that door of any movie I've seen.
Watched House of 1000 Corpses for the first time last night. I can appreciate Zombie trying to be creative and innovative, but that movie was so disorganized that I couldn’t really dig the vibe he was going for. Incredibly odd movie that made me feel gross watching it lol
Welp, I was going to try to watch the next two in the trilogy, but it sounds like it might be a huge waste of time lol
