When I eventually get to mine it's gonna skew a lot newer than all y'all's. I haven't seen a lot of older horror, or a lot of older film in general.
I have trouble putting anything newer than like a decade on these things, but NOPE should probably be on there too and a few others probably deserve spots.
My general rule is, if I've seen it more than once and still think it's somewhere between great and perfect on second watch, it's eligible
I did this, but I don't know if I want to bring that negativity into this thread Skinamarink and John Dies at the End are very good
I’ll post my list tonight. May look a little different than what I posted last year. Or maybe not lol
I just finished a rewrite of my reverse Alien screenplay. It’s practically unfilmable and exclusively uses Ariana Grande songs, but I’m dying for some feedback if anyone wants to read it.
In Alien, a human crew on a distress call are attacked by a hostile alien. In mine, an alien crew on a distress call are attacked by hostile humans.
that music montage scene in Sinners is one of the best in years, genuinely had me breathless in the cinema
Funland being labeled as a horror is somewhat misleading, but what a weird movie to experience. From the director of the Sleepaway Camp sequels, a film that has a semi-mockumentary style on the declining mental health of an amusement park clown mascot. Highly recommend if you want a weird dark comedy.
