I want to watch it but I feel like waiting until October or possibly even deep winter lol

 

It was raining and cloudy all day so thats why I wanted to watch it. By the time I got home the sun was shining. Still rocked

Holy shit I just bought a ticket for this. Cannot wait.

 

Im curious if anyone has The Northman ranked higher than his other films.

 

It's not bad, but it's definitely a little more...standard. Less unique to him. It's aight. I obviously have a horror bias.

Only watched the Northman and the witch once each. They’re both fine. If I was going to rewatch one it’d be the Northman.

The Witch is GOATed and had only gotten better with time imo (turns 10 this year!). Also feels like the blueprint for every A24 horror movie since (complimentary)

Well at least we all agree on Nosferatu being great, but damn.

The Witch is still like a strong 9 for me and is very close to The Northman. I think Nosferatu and The Lighthouse are both on another level, he's easily one of my favourite "new" directors.

 

Yeah I think Nosy and The Lighthouse are both miles above the Northman and the Witch
