Planning on OG Halloween and Halloween II double-feature tomorrow. Really want to revisit the AFGA Trailer Show stuff on Saturday. That blu-ray is a steal for any Vinegar Syndrome heads out there, it's like three hours of old-school trailers and commercials.

 

Sorry for the triple-post - I understand the notion to not consider NOPE horror because it feels like something more, or several genres wrapped into one, but at its core, it feels like horror in the same way Jaws does. Maybe even more-so considering some of the sequences.

 

Yeah we made it half way. So far pretty good

 

It has only grown on me with each rewatch to the point where it went from my least favorite of his to my favorite. Enjoy!

Haven’t seen Us since the theater. Need to rewatch it but it’s definitely my least favorite. Nope is pretty perfect.

 

speaking of Nope there's word going around that Daniel Kaluuya joined a cult during filming and that's why he's pretty much disappeared from movies since

 

I dove into this a bit ago, I guess he has since left the cult and got a new agent, but would love more details.

 

What cult? Was it a cool one?

Nice. Don't know anything about the novel, and I loved Strange Darling, so I'm in.

 

I hope our Cinemark 1) gets Together and 2) has it long enough that I can catch it with Weapons. Having a baby makes doing a double-feature hard, but that one would be worth it if I could make a deal with my wife.

 

I'm hoping Together is the Scream Unseen at my cinema on Monday.

I can't eat when I'm watching horror movies, or movies in general really, unless I'm at the theater. Meals are for Youtube

 

I usually eat and then watch the movie but I gotta snack on something if Im watching either way

 

Yeah I eat my food in like 7 minutes and then pause the movie to clean up so usually don’t do it.

 

I get snacks at concessions and end up finishing within the 20 minutes of trailers

At home tho I usually don't eat while watching anything. Usually.
