Haley is good and it's not his fault people didn't like his version of Kreuger. Happy to see him getting roles. I also really don't think the Nightmare remake is as bad as people say if you can just accept that it was a miss tonally and not trying to be the same film as the original. (Not as good as the F13 remake, though.)
Tried to buy a ticket for Evil Dead Burn on my work computer and somehow got a virus. So embarrassing.
trailers... i think i missed a couple The dog stars Victorian psycho One night only By any means Ice cream man Clay face The end of oak Street
Just re-listened to the G&R episode on NOES remake. I’m surprised by how kind they were to it. I don’t think I even finished it on my first watch 15 or so years ago, but I think I owe it another shot.
I enjoyed Evil Dead Burn well enough. Gory without being too gross. Thematically it's almost ike a meaner Ready or Not in a smaller setting. Rise went a little too far for me. Still think 2013 is my fav of the three I've seen tho
I'm watching Ash Vs Evil Dead and I was thinking about how great a genre horror-comedy is. For example, Tucker and Dale Vs Evil is one of the best movies I've ever seen. What are some must-see horror-comedies?
Happy Death Day 1-2 The Babysitter 1-2 Ready or Not 1-2 M3GAN 1-2 Shaun of the Dead Hot Fuzz World's End Jennifer's Body Lisa Frankenstein Forbidden Fruits Freaky Abigail The Menu Renfield Warm Bodies Anna and the Apocalypse
i feel the exact opposite, tbh. Burn had creepier moments for me. a good chunk of Rise's looked a bit cheap.
Did the First Omen and Get Away last night! Wasn’t a Get Away fan but The First Omen was great.. beautifully shot!
